ABOUT THE TROTMAN FOUNDATION.

"No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks." -- James Allen

Picture

The Trotman Foundation is a non profit organization formed by Zach and Jeanna Trotman. Through their combination background in the sports world, the Trotmans felt their platforms could be used to "do good."

Together over time, they had several ideas of how they wanted to give back to those in need, whether that is in their local community or on a bigger scale.

The mission of the Trotman Foundation is to have an outlet to "do good" where it's needed most. The projects will change over time and the charitable efforts will be done through different events held, as well as through online campaigns.

The Trotman Foundation is a nonprofit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization. "501(C)(3)"

WHAT STARTED IT ALL.

The 'Warrior Helmet' was the project that motivated the Trotman Foundation to form. The combat-worn helmet was provided to Zach Trotman and the Penguins by Dale McClellan, a combat veteran and former Navy SEAL machine gunner, point man, sniper and scout sniper instructor. The helmet represents an award to the Penguins' player who goes above and beyond the 'call of duty' after each win. Not only is the helmet a special piece of memorabilia from the locker room, but also an item that has gone through battle and victory on the front line itself.
